Terms of sale and use
PPM Maintenance Tracker. Last updated 11 October 2026.
The seller is Bartosz Milewski, trading as Maintenance Tracker ("we", "us"), 6 Braid Street, Flat 16, Glasgow, G4 9YA, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected]. These terms are the agreement between you (the customer) and us for PPM Maintenance Tracker (the software). By buying or using it you agree to them. They apply to businesses and to consumers; where a part applies to only one, it says so.
1. The licence
You buy a licence once; there is no subscription. The licence is for life: your site may use the software for as long as you like.
- Solo: one PC, up to 2 users and up to 25 viewers.
- Team: one PC that holds your site and any number of other PCs on your network, up to 10 users and up to 25 viewers.
Viewers are free and do not count as users. A licence key can be activated on up to 3 PCs; to move it after that, email us. You may not resell, sublicense or share the licence, or copy, modify or reverse-engineer the software except where the law allows it.
2. Free trial
The software starts with a free trial. When the trial ends it opens read-only: your data stays, and you can still sign in, view, print and export. A licence key makes it fully usable again at once.
3. Updates
- New features released in the 12 months from your purchase date are included.
- Security updates and bug fixes are free for as long as the version you use is supported.
- Features released after those 12 months need an updates renewal.
- Nothing that was available when you bought, or that you received while your updates ran, is ever removed or locked.
4. Payment
Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, charges and pays VAT or sales tax, and issues your receipt; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Paddle adds VAT or sales tax for your country at checkout, and may show the price in your own currency.
5. Cancelling and refunds
Consumers: if you buy as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel. Paddle's checkout explains it and, because the licence key is supplied at once, asks for your consent to that before you pay. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Everyone: on top of any legal right, you can have a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason. See the refund policy.
6. Support
Email us with any question. We aim to reply within 2 working days; this is an aim, not a guarantee.
7. Your data
Your maintenance data is stored on your own PCs; we do not receive it. See the privacy policy.
8. Our responsibility to you
Consumers: we must supply the software as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, with reasonable care and skill. If it is not, you have legal rights to a repair, a replacement or a refund. Nothing in these terms takes away those rights.
Businesses: we supply the software with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or work without interruption. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.
Everyone: nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; changes are posted on this page with a new date. The terms in force when you bought your licence apply to that purchase.
